Distribution or sale of newspapers and similar printed matter is permitted in thoroughfare areas on the first floors of both Memorial Union and Union South except for those areas designated for non-distribution. Distribution or sale is not permitted in study, television, music-listening rooms, lounges, or in food service areas. Distribution or sale of such printed matter is also permitted in thoroughfare areas immediately outside the Play Circle and Union Theater in Memorial Union, except in those areas designated for non-distribution.
Student organizations wishing to sell printed matter in Union buildings must complete a contract for allocation of space with the appropriate reservations office in Union South or Memorial Union. Table space for distribution or sales is available in the Commons Lobby of Memorial Union and the first-floor lobby of Union South.
Additionally, groups that have been allocated meeting spaces in the Union may authorize distribution of printed matter within their assigned space.
