Access to athletic facilities is generally from 6 a.m.–10 p.m. except for limited exceptions with prior approval. Access to athletic facilities is controlled by the Athletic Department at all times using Wiscard Photo ID or Access Control Photo Identification cards and proximity card readers. Access key pads and associated controls are also used to secure athletic facilities. Security cameras are also used to monitor athletic facilities.
Locker Room Access (pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 175.22)
Athletic Department locker room facilities are available only to student-athletes, coaches, and other Athletic Department staff members who have a business need for access. Members of the media and the public may enter and remain in the locker room facilities only with the expressed permission of the Athletic Department.
Cameras, video recorders or any other device that may be used to record or transfer images will be permitted in specific and limited circumstances in order to protect the privacy of student-athletes, coaches and staff members. No person may use a cell phone to capture, record, or transfer a representation of a nude or partially nude person in the locker room.
Any person who violates Athletic Department guidelines or any applicable Wisconsin statute will be subject to immediate removal from the locker room facilities and will be subject to prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
