University Policy

Rationale/​Purpose:

To reduce parking demand on campus, UW-Madison Transportation Services encourages faculty and staff to participate in the Vanpool Program, administered by Commute with Enterprise. Vanpools are groups of 8-15 commuters who share their ride to work in a passenger van administered by Commute with Enterprise. State vanpool vehicles are given highest priority parking (location) on campus.

Scope:

Faculty and staff. 

Policy:
  1.  Commute with Enterprise will purchase the base lot assignment requested for the van and may purchase one business alternate permit.
  2. Vanpool parking is prioritized over individual parking assignments.
  3. The vanpool coordinator submits the permit application.
  4. Restrictions
